I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things  sent  from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father  be  glory forever and ever. Amen.”

It’s always a little awkward when the topic of asking for support gets brought up. So far I have not directly asked anyone, only accepted it when brought up.

That said though I remember talking to my pastor Zeke Flores a few years ago when I went to Ecuador for the first time about this. I had all the money needed to go on the trip and wasn’t going to ask if anyone wanted to donate support money. He told me don’t rob people of the opportunity to give to the Lord. I had never thought of it like that. It is actually a blessing to give, and not everyone can go on the mission field but they might be able to give monetary support.

Of course I always need and want prayer support, but if it would be a blessing for you to give to support my ministry then you can send either a one time gift or a monthly gift to the address below. When you give it means you take part in all that I do and are just as much a part as the work as I am; the rewards in heaven will be just as much yours as mine. That sounds cliche, but its true and there is no other way to say it. God can provide and I’m not worried about starving to death, I just don’t want to rob anyone of the opportunity to give.

To give write a check to Calvary Chapel Phelan with a note attached that says for Matt Camphuis missions. If you do it that way it will be tax deductible and you will get a receipt at the end of the year.
